Roller shades are also available with a feature called Duolite, which allows you to have a sheer or semi-sheer fabric in the front and a black out fabric in the back. Silhouette Sheer Shades
For the best view-through, Silhouette shades are the way to go. Silhouettes feature soft fabric vanes held between sheer fabrics. The vanes can tilt open for optimal view-through and the sheers lightly diffuse any sunlight and UV rays that come through. When the vanes are tilted closed, the shade provides privacy. The vanes are available in translucent or light dimming fabrics. Silhouette shades also have the Duolite feature, which would include a room darkening liner in the back.
